"Pebble Pincher" is a depiction of a Hawaiian Hermit Crab! As a kid growing up on the shores of the Big Island... the Artist was always picking up creatures of the tidepools, hermit crabs, pa¯pa‘i crabs, sea cucumbers... you name it! She enjoyed letting them crawl in her palm and observing them closely before returning them back safely. The original was created using acrylic paint and alcohol marker. This product is a reproduction of the original approved by the Artist.
