Work Now Available at Gupton Gallery!

For years, I held a secret dream – to see my artwork hanging in a beautiful gallery, especially one with a stunning ocean view. But let's be honest, the thought of putting my work out there, of people actually buying it, filled me with nerves. What if nobody liked it?

I kept creating, though, pouring my heart and soul onto each piece. Slowly, confidence started to bloom. Maybe, just maybe, my art could connect with someone, bring them joy, or spark a conversation. That's when I decided to apply to show my work at Gupton Gallery in Kailua Kona. This incredible space, right on the waterfront, showcased a variety of artists, and the atmosphere just felt…right.

It was time to take a leap.

Prepping for a local art show gave me a much-needed push. As I curated my work for the event, seeing it all together ignited a spark. My art, once just in the quiet corners of my studio, felt alive, ready to be shared. Nervousness still lingered, but this time, it was laced with excitement.

With a deep breath (and maybe a little pep talk in the mirror), I submitted my portfolio to Gupton Gallery in hopes of being part of their upcoming anniversary show.

The waiting game began. Every email notification sent my heart racing. Then, the email arrived – not just acceptance for the anniversary show, but an offer to showcase my work for the entire month of September!

I called everyone I knew to share the update. The feeling of seeing my name listed among established artists on the Gupton Gallery website was surreal. This wasn't just a dream anymore; it was happening!

I'm incredibly grateful to Gupton Gallery for giving my work a platform. More importantly, I'm grateful for taking that leap of faith, for pushing past the fear and believing in myself. This experience has been nothing short of inspiring, and it proves that sometimes, all it takes is a little bravery to turn your creative dreams into reality.

If you're ever in Kailua Kona, be sure to stop by Gupton Gallery and see my artwork on display throughout September.

And to everyone out there holding onto a creative spark, don't be afraid to let it shine. You never know who might connect with your work, or what amazing opportunities might await you on the other side of that leap.
